I am a licensed landscape architect and the owner of Outdoor Design Group, Inc., a landscape architecture, planning, and design firm in Arvada, Colorado. We provide consulting and design services to developers, architects, municipalities & public agencies, civil engineers, contractors, property management companies, property owners, HOA’s, metro districts, homeowners, and businesses.

I created Lot Lines to provide our clients and readers with information, tips, observations and experiences on the planning, design, construction and maintenance of landscapes. My hope is that the articles in Lot Lines invoke comments and discussion so that readers can pass on their own unique experiences and ideas.

In addition to my work in the office, I also really enjoy experimenting and getting my hands dirty with different plants, maintenance techniques, irrigation systems, hardscapes, and landscape construction-  so I hope to share some helpful tips and lessons that I’ve learned there as well.

When I am away from work I enjoy gardening, skiing, boating, hiking, camping, fishing, traveling, playing basketball and golf.  I’m a graduate of Michigan State University.  My wife Amanda and I live in Arvada, Colorado with our daughter.
